This is pretty sad. The guy I work with still has a lot of notes of his deceased mentor, who held my job before I did. I was in the office reading through them one day, and found the day that his wife died. That day of notes and the subsequent two or three weeks of notes were pretty tough to read, but also would make you realize what life is all about.
