SCAR fans are very familiar with them.

Wiscky lost a lot of talent off the team we faced in the Cap One Bowl to end the season last year.

They do have one of the better RBs in the country.

As you already know, their QB, who was a safety last year, was a Gamecock - he was never going to be a QB for us. He's a natural athlete though and is big and strong.

Stop their running game and you beat them going away.

Let them have success on the ground and they'll grind-it-out all day long.

They graduated their stud linebacker, that kid was a player. They can be run-on regardless. But they appeared to be especially susceptible to a strong passing attack.

Y'all are going to be waaaay more talented and deep than these guys.

I just don't see it being that close. I figure y'all could win by three TDs if you just keep popping them in the mouth with a strong running game until they stack the box ... you'ved got a QB that can throw it around a little, right?

Am I the only one who thought Jennings was the worst quarterback in LSU's recent history against Iowa? He looked pitiful to me

No, this thread deserves to stay here and die a sad, lonely death.

I hope he does well for y'all. Looking forward to the game this year.

Don't tell any of my Alabama brethren, but I actually somewhat like LSU, in a second-best SEC team sort of way

Here's how I look at the game.

If Wisconsin comes down to Houston and puts it on LSU then they deserve it and deserve our respect. I don't think they can do it, but if I'm wrong then so be it.

Now, if we lose because we look bad that's a different story.

Yeah, I think most are somewhat worried. Wisconsin has a good history and puts out a high quality offensive line every season. Couple that with some very, very good running backs and that is a real concern against untested DT's. We were gashed up the middle of the d-line quite a bit last year. The hope is that we will be improved there but it's a wait and see right now. SC gave up 293 rushing yards in the bowl game against Wisky so they are a real threat there and have had all offseason to game plan this opener. If we get rolling on offense, I think we win but with a new QB and WR's, again we won't know until we see it. Miles' teams are usually pretty well prepared for openers. Hoping that's the case again this year!

It's so difficult to predict anything before actually playing a game in a season. As an LSU fan, I respect Wisconsin's program a ton. The middle of our defense was gashed in several games last year and that is Wisconsin is really good at attacking.

Again, without seeing our team yet this year, it's hard to say whether we'll be improved in the middle or not. I'm looking forward to some new blood there.

That being said I feel like LSU should win but definitely don't expect a blow out or something.

We know your D was sleep walking most of that Cap One game and not looking to get injured.

Cocks still won by 10

If you played them week 1 last yr 48-17 woulda been the score like it will be Sat night
