It's a young team, but I can see their coach start building them up the season and have a couple surprise wins. They coming for Florida.

No reason why we shouldn't….except the schedule.

The freshman class is better than expected and we have a solid mix of juniors and seniors.
We have great leadership on this team.

The great thing about having mostly young guys is they haven't learned how to lose. They are coming in with a clean slate.

We will take our lumps for sure, but this is a better team than Butch's first year, without a doubt.

6 wins would be fantastic

Possibly. I've said for awhile now that 2015 is when we should make the jump up to being real contenders for the East again.

These VOLS will be extremely young (26 players in the two-deep will be freshman or soph.) but the team speed has increased dramatically as has our talent level.

I grew up hating Tennessee because I grew up in the Memphis area and a lot of their fans were terrible, so I've thoroughly enjoyed their suckitude. But even I am starting to feel bad for them, they're so beaten down it's pitiful.

I want them to suck arse one more season, and for Ole Miss to beat the frick out of them. After that I will be at peace and be willing for them to become relevant again. Lucky for me they are indeed likely to blow complete dick this season yet again. But with their recruiting they will probably be alright after that.

They will upset someone this year that nobody will expect. But they need another solid recruiting year to get bowl eligible and start competing in the East. In 2-3 years they could easily be better than Florida depending on the coaching situation there.

I think they finish 3rd in East so yeah. They're on their way.

No. Tennessee will be dreadful again, possibly 3-4 wins.

Tennessee's schedule is super hard, if they go 6-6 and make a crummy bowl they should consider it a decent first step.

Regardless of whatever the W-L record ends up being I think the difference on the field will absolutely be night an day. We will def. take huge strides this year. We've got a good shot at upsetting a lot more teams than folks think if things go our way BUT that youth, depth, and schedule is just a killer. If we were in another conference or had an easier schedule our turnaround would shock CFB, imo, even with our other issues.

If, and I say *IF* Jones can get 7 or more wins he deserves Coach of the Year all things considered. I'd love an Auburn-esque turnaround but our situations are different and though I'll be disappointed (what SEC fan doesn't expect a perfect season every year despite the facts on the ground?) I will be happy if we can go bowling.

We have depth woes and youth but the team that counts us out/overlooks us does so at their own risk. Just like we have TONS of question marks, there's also huge talent and upset potential on this team.

I know one thing for sure - when we're back to winning 10+ a year which I feel will happen sooner than folks think (thank sweet baby 8lb Jeebus) I'll be damned if I ever take it for granted again.

Another decade of mediocrity for the Vols before they work off that Fulmer karma. High school kids today can't even recall the Vols ever being good.

I've seen that a lot. Tennessee has much better athletes than Utah State. I think Tennessee wins by a comfortable margin.
