one of my rituals is normally to attend the home opener. usually in doing so I forego watching ANY other football until after the AU opener. unfortunately this year I wont be able to attend which throws my whole dynamic off. might end up having to watch the Thurs night game & pray it doesnt jinx our season. what yall got as far as weird or goofy rituals relating to football?

Drinking beer is a pretty common pre-game ritual for me

I dont think things you would normally do any day of the week count just because they happened before the game

Volume needs to be set at 45. Also, previous channel can't be ESPNews.

Eta: didn't read OP well

I can't masturbate the day of or day before the game. Probably karma, idk?

My new one is bitching on Twitter at how horrible a program ESPN College Gameday has become. They blocked me last season.

Wear my oldest A&M shirt I still own, have two coronas both opened, make sure last channel is another premiere game. I also don't drink said beer until after the first half

thats what I'm talking about. my volume has to be 57 when I'm watching at home other at home rituals include the mandatory playing of the fight song and Tiger Walk by T-Will pregame.

The main thing I do is a season to season thing. I have to get a new hat and shirt for each season and wear said hat and shirt every Saturday we have a game, home or away. After the season is over the shirt is relegated to a non gameday shirt, as is the hat.
