Look for the hot weather & lack of practice/conditioning time to affect taters top WR...

Clemson offensive coordinator Chad Morris told reporters today that wide receiver Charone Peake will be ready to play in the opener against Georgia, and any concerns he may have would be due to conditioning, not health. Peake suffered a torn ACL last September, and then had to undergo another minor surgery on the same knee last month, but he's been back at practice for the past week.

"Charone looks good. We have to get him back in game shape. Hopefully he will play quite a bit. When fresh he's a difference maker," said Morris.

Clemson beat writers don't really see him making much of an impact. From practice reports he's not COMPLETELY healthy and from the sound of that he's not ready to perform at a high level just yet.

Seems like he's gonna be in the same boat as Mitchell for the SCe game, if MM makes it back by then, that is....

I'm not really holding out hope for Malcolm, considering he didnt' start running on the ground until late last week.

I know Conley is gimpy, but if we can get enough snaps out of Bennett and an almost 100% Conley we'll be alright I think.
