Per the Brilliant, Alabama Alumn Greg McElroy:
1. UGA
2. Bama
3. AU
4. UT
5. OM
Do you agree?

I think Auburns top 2 are better than anyone in the sec right now so I'd have them higher.

I agree that everyone here cares a lot about what Gmac says. Dudes gets talked about errday on here

UT has some very good young receivers and it's hard to rate them at this point, also it looks like we have a QB that will struggle hitting them down the field.

I would put Cooper, Jones, White, and Howard up against anyone.

I haven't agreed with any analysis I have seen on the SECN, as far as position rankings go. They have been pretty abysmal.

ole miss should be number 1

Georgia's got more of a dirty dozen receiving corps. There's no 1 guy that stands out as a shining star except Malcome Mitchell and he hasn't played in two years.
It's all the guys that will catch 500-600 yards this year from sideline to sideline. Quick guys, tall guys, tough guys, white guys, black guys. Conley, JSW, Malcome, Bennett, Reggie Davis, Quayvon, Keith Marshall is back.... there are plenty of incoming potential badasses too, but it's not fair to count them.... but it is fair to include Todd Gurley as a receiver, he was the team's 3rd leading receiver last year. 441 yards I believe (and he missed 3 full games and parts of others.)
In the Georgia Preview it was written that UGA returns more than 2500 yards receiving from last year.
Does that lead the SEC?
IF not, who returns more receiving yards?

actually not at all i thought aTm got screwed and Uga got a friendly placement. i actually have no prob being third....
Mine would look more like
1.Bama
2.OM
3.AU
4.A&M
5.UGA
but after the rush attack i imagine he didnt want to look like a complete homer so he trolled AUBs and threw UGA above us.... lol

It should go
UA
AU
OM
UT
UGA
Gmacs brilliant though so not sure if I can even comprehend his reasoning.

No shite. For someone that nobody likes they sure do like discussing his analysis.

No shite, He's almost exclusively the only one doing any breakdowns for the network...
Other than the Florida guy who has done a little bit.

AU returns 2,164 worth plus their starting qb with the addition of D. Williams. Coates is being projected in the 1st round, with many believing Williams to be the better of the two. Add in returning Denson from injury, with Ricardo and Tony Stevens, AU has a case for #1. All things considered, I would give the nod to AU.

Print the shirts, preseason rankings are pointless. Let's see what it looks like at the end of the season.
A&M receivers are mostly unproven at this point, but RSJ and Speedy should put up some serious numbers by season's end. Look for A&M in the top 3 final rankings
Ole Miss has 1 receiver. Treadwell excelled last year because he had Moncrief to take off some pressure. He's gonna be locked down this season, book it
