This Auburn - OM game in 2003 was one of the greatest games I've ever witnessed in person. It allowed the Rebs to be 6-0 in the SEC heading into the showdown with LSU two weeks later for the SEC crown (The UGA-LSU rematch in Atlanta was not a true championship game). Ben Obamanu's drop at the end is priceless.

Not sure about all time greats, but 2013 Auburn-A&M was a very entertaining game that'll be overshadowed by the Iron Bowl. To a lesser extent, so will 2013 Auburn-UGA and 2010 Iron Bowl.

THE BUILDUP Number 5 vs Number 7
quote:
Auburn had lost three straight to the Seminoles, who had won seven straight games against SEC opponents. The No. 7 Seminoles (4-1) were well on their way, but a national championship would have to wait another few years.
No. 5 Auburn (4-0-1) was breaking in new quarterback Stan White, but a 56-6 victory against Vanderbilt the week prior gave the redshirt freshman some confidence heading into a top 10 match-up in Auburn.
The Tigers also had some motivation on their side after losing the previous two matchups (1989 Sugar Bowl, 1989 regular season) with potentially game-tying or game-winning drives ending inside the red zone. Quarterback Reggie Slack threw an interception in the end zone in the Sugar Bowl and then was dropped at the 11-yard line as time neared zero the next season.
White, who watched the 22-14 loss in 1989 from the sidelines, was out for revenge.
"We owe those guys a little something," White said at the time, according to the Florida Sun-Sentinel. "Also, if we lose, it`ll be hard to come back and win the national championship. It`s in the back of the minds of the players from both teams. There`s a lot at stake in this game."

That was a real heartbreaker for AU. Obomanu had made two great plays in the game; one to keep us in the game and the long catch and run to get in position to win.

The 7 OT OM-Arky game was one of the most entertaining games I've witnessed.

What about the OM-Bama game (don't remember the year) where there was a controversial call or no call on a WR going out of bounds and returning to the field of play? This was a good game.
