Kick Six Band

I love watching this about as much as the actual Kick Six. Band directors freaking like everybody else in the stadium, but that drum major did her job with poise.

Our daughter was in marching bands her whole life including at UGA. So, I have some appreciation for how hard those folks work.

The drum major deserves an award.

Honestly I'd rather them enjoy themselves and celebrate. I couldn't hear them anyways after that play happened and I was like one section over from them.

You couldn't even hear them play Reverse Rammer Jammer that was like 10 minutes later.

The entire stadium was singing the Reverse Rammer Jammer with them so of course you could hear it.

And I heard the War Eagle after the Kick Six as well. Must have been your seat location.

If you were hearing the band after that play you weren't doing it right.

Also, the reverse rammer jammer had to be played over the loudspeaker. Not by the band.

Yeah we definitely tried, but after a little while just gave up because everyone was freaking out and couldn't hear us

Which was nice because playing it over the loudspeakers meant I got to scream it too

Yea, it was not a knock on the band at all, more of a testament to the madness going on everywhere.

I don't know what world you were in that night but they had to play it over the loud speakers for anybody to hear it.

The Band was awesome that night...I vaguely remember them playing War Eagle after the TD, everything after that is kind of a blur.

I sit directly and diametrically opposed to the band so I guess that may have had something to do with it. Plus I stayed in the stands and their were fewer people their in the end than on the field.

The band probably won't play the reverse rammer jammer, or what was called Go Tigers.

Yep.

But the only time the Reverse Rammer Jammer is sung to it is when we beat Bama.

All other times its just "go tigers, go tigers, go tigers, go!"

Well that's how it's supposed to be. People still mix in part of the reverse rammer jammer everytime it's played while I them

Eh, not really. Now when it is played pre-game the crowd (at least the student section) follows "go tigers, go tigers, go tigers, go!" with rammer jammer yellow hammer go to hell Alabama. Seems they have been doing that for at least the last two-three years.
