LSU is a legit national title contender. ESPN has them 5th in the SEC right now

That is really amazing, and while ESPN does clearly hype the SEC, it's not ALL hype.
And the usual claims of being top heavy don't apply. A&M, Ole Miss, and Florida would dominate the "middle section" of any other conference out there.
For those who hate hearing about our conference, this will probably be another frustrating year.

I don't think this will happen, but it could. Neither of those teams will be easy.
A&M will be very interesting. There is no way to know how good they will be right now.

Ain't that the truth
Excited for the season to just start already so we can see what we have on our hands.

If Hill and Turner had returned, I don't care if Jefferson was taking snaps again, LSU would be an SEC favorite.
I'd be thrilled if we made second in the west.

This is the dumbest thing I keep hearing...
Just cause there are questions doesn't mean the answer is bad...
I think alot of the answers are very, very good and in some cases better than the known answer we had previously. We certainly could be title contenders. I'm not saying that we will, but at this point it's too soon to know for sure.

2013 middle tier Power 5 teams
ACC: Syracuse, BC, Ga Tech
B12: K State, Texas Tech, WVU
B10: Iowa, Minnesota, Penn St
PAC12: USC, Washington, Arizona
I'd say the Pac12 would be the only conference to hold its own, and would still come up a little short against our three.

It surprised me that he went early, but he had a great combine.
