LSU's QB play - We will find out how good AJ or BH will really be. That first game against Wisky will be much like an SEC opponent. We will soon see how well that offense can get going. I think they will do fine, but will see some experience issues during away games in hostile environments.

TAMU's Defense - TAMU will get a heavy dose of the balanced attack that USC brings to the table. If TAMU wants to have a successful game, their defense needs to get penetration against one of the best if not the best O-Line in the SEC.

Ole Miss being tested early - Boise State is no pushover. Sure, they are in a weak conference, but they will be a tough opponent on paper. I'm looking to see how Ole Miss faces adversity early on. I think the game will be close at half. What I'm looking for is, who will make the most adjustments. Freeze's only major flaw as a coach is his ability to control a game. If Ole Miss gets ahead early, I see them running away.

MSU Defense - It should be extremely easy to throw up points against USM, but good Lord if we give up more than 10 points in garbage time then we should just give up on football all together.

A&M's defense faces a better O-line than South Carolina in practice...or have you forgotten that A&M returns four starters including a player who could possibly be the #1 draft pick in 2015.

As far as things I'm looking for: Change in playcalling.

Clarence McKinney's playcalling consisted of "Johnny, bail my arse out."

Spavital actually utilized the running backs and the 6'6 280lb tight end.

Clear caught more passes against Duke than he did the entire previous 12 games combined.

LSU offense will be no different than it has been the last decade but the major area of concern is our DLine play

Did you miss the first part? No one knows right now who is the best.

Being a starter on last year's Aggie defense is a dubious honor at best.

W
And offensive production. All I care about is those two things. Defense will be fine.

Fail reading comprehension much?

Cedric Ogbuehi, Germain Ifedi, Jarvis Harrison, and Mike Matthews are OFFENSIVE LINE starters.

Did they face a great OLine in practice last year as well?

If so .... ?

Last year they were simply shitty. The premise though was that they won't be able to handle South Carolina's O-line because "they're one of the best in the country". If they aren't able to handle it, it won't be because they haven't seen one like it before...it will be because they suck.

That's actually not the premise at all. The premise is if your D-line can get penetration against one of the best O-lines in the conference. Never did I state they wouldn't be able to "handle" them.

You saw the difference between an A&M defensive line with an elite pass rusher (Damontre Moore) and one without one.

Fundamentals on defense. We don't have to be dominant, just better at the little things. Would like to see us tackle better and know assignments.

Would already be an upgrade.

Auburn-TO see if the O can pick up where it left off last season an to see if our D has made the strides from last year as CEJ has suggested.

Bama-The oline. I think Cristobal is an outstanding recruiting but subpar coach. Bama is replacing some key spots on the line so I want to see if they can gel any quicker than they did last season. This time with a new QB.

MSU-I want to if Dak is the real deal or not.

UGA, LSU, TAMU, USC-QB play

UF-We all figure UF will have a top 5 D, but can the O improve? It won't have to do much to be better than the last couple of years.

A&M vs USCjr, very excited to watch some competitive football in week 1 for a change, the Big 12 is all about cupcakes for the first 3-4 weeks.

The way I read "the premise" was simply that your DLine will be facing one of the better OLines in the country. Is that factual or not?

What your DLine "sees" in practice is not the same as what they are going to face in The Cock Pit on 28 August. Different schemes, different mentalities ... unless you are claiming that your starting OLine is working on your scout team against your DLine preparing them for the type of zone blocking schemes SCAR uses?

week 1 won't really show that. You're going to have to wait for the LSU game like the rest of us
