Yes we are getting it on Comcast. Announced a while back

quote:

Comcast will carry the channel at its Aug. 14 launch on its expanded basic tier within SEC territory and digital basic outside of it. Sources say the channel's rate card is at $1.40 per subscriber per month within the SEC's 11-state footprint and $0.25 per month outside of it. The deal leaves DirecTV and Time Warner Cable as the only two major distributors without a deal, though sources said that both companies expect to have a deal in place by the channel's first football game on Aug. 28. It is unusual for so many carriage deals to be cut on a new, expensive channel four weeks before launch. The Comcast deal pushes SEC Network's distribution footprint to 46 million homes, including carriage on AT&T, Cox and Dish Network.

Found this one of the Comcast forums:

quote:

The majority of our cable systems will begin rolling out SEC Network in August to both SD and HD customers.

The systems in the states of Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Florida that will offer this channel will have SEC Network on the Digital Starter package and systems launching in any other state will offer SEC Network as part of the Digital Preferred package.

Additional details will be provided as they become available. Thanks for your patience.

I don't have cable but I may have accidentally ran across a Comcast user name and password so I should be able to watch it on WatchESPN.

I was hoping this would be an option. I cannot think of any reason it would not be on watchESPN, but does anyone know for sure?

Comcast said it will be. It's also going to be on the Xfinity app which is also free.
