I havent been to many campuses in the SEC. I have been to UGA's and Auburns. Which campus is the most impressive for new recruits out of all the SEC schools. Does this have a big effect on which school recruits choose?

UGA is the nicest until Athens PD shows up and arrests everyone.

I'm pretty sure everyone is going to claim their own.

Mizzou's quad is one of the more historic places I've been on a college campus. I'm sure every school has something similar.

Here's a no-nonsense answer.

It depends on the recruit.

It depends on what the recruit is looking for, what is attractive to him.

It depends on if the campus and the town or city has something to offer that appeals to said recruit, and they are all different.

It also depends on the family, the parent(s), the guardians.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder ... or, in this case, the eye of the recruits.

I have heard recruits say they love South Carolina for the women ... the women down the road at SC State.

I have heard them say they love the campus because of the old history.

I have heard them say they love Clemson for the small town feel, while I have heard them say they love SCAR for the big town feel.

A lot of it usually comes-down to excitement in the stadium on game day.

A lot of it, a lot of the time, comes down to them being far enough away from home to feel independent, while at the same time being close enough for Momma to come to games.

It just all depends.

I know UGA is nice and is very impressive and we also just got alot of new things for our football players. But I havent been to many of the other campuses to know if they have just as impressive or maybe even more impressive campuses.

Alabama's is very impressive with all of the new buildings.
Ole Miss impresses with the hotness of its women, but the campus itself is meh.
Athens impresses, but the cops quickly end that.
LSU is stunning, but if the only other part of BR they see is Old South Baton Rouge, I-110 coming from the airport, and Tigerland, they're going to be scared away pretty fast.

This makes sense to me as FSU uses Florida A&M in there recruiting pitch. Lots of cleat chasers between the two schools. It's an advantage for them for some recruits.

Yes, yes, I know...you don't like me. I get it.

Yeah, Ole Miss is hideous. See for yourself.

The heart of LSU is great, but drive one block pas the Northgates or past Bogies and your opinion of LSU and BR in general take a nasty dive. Baton Rouge has a higher murder rate than Chicago. Huge recruiting tool.

Our bags are strategically placed around campus, so they enjoy it all

Auburn has to be included on this list. It is very well put together and maintained.

Texas A&M looks like Soviet Russia.

I wasnt really impressed at all with Auburns campus. The town of Auburn is pretty nice but the campus is not on the same level as Bama's.

I was accepted to both schools out of HS and grew up outside of SEC country, btw.

I've been to away games at most of the campuses and Athens was far and away the best.
