Is it possible to find a team with better safeties than Ole Miss?

Tony Conner

Cody Prewitt

SEC quarterbacks are going to have a tough year against these two. I see them having a combined 12 interceptions this year.

I say Bama has the best safety duo in the SEC right now with Collins and Perry.

No.

If Hootie or someone proves themself right away maybe, but Nick is nothing special. Solid contributor, but not one of the more important cogs that is Saban's defense. But to say Ole Miss has the best safety duo in the country is horseshite.

That is all.

Sorry bud. Ags claim best safety duo.

Honeycutt & Raven. They define best of the best.

Nick perry?

Geno smith plays FS and Collins SS

only other safety that plays is Jarrick Williams and he is considered star. He hits hard as frick tho. Hootie is the 4th safety in sequences during spring and workouts.

Ole miss fans think Prewitt is Eric berry or some shite. He's overrated. He had a good season. Guess who had a good season one year and had 2 okay ones after that.

Lester career Alabama stats

8 picks his sophomore year.

I meant to put Geno not Perry (couldn't think of his name at the time). I didn't want to put Hootie on there yet because he hasn't even taken a snap, but no matter who lines up with Landon, Bama still may have the best duo.

auburn has the best safeties in the SEC, with Whitehead, Therezie, and Nick Marshall.

By the way, have you ever seen a rant thread that starts "Does Ole Miss have the best..." which was NOT started by an Ole Miss fan?

True

Geno has done really well and impressed and he was always A LOT better at zone and reads etc great tackling form

I wish Vin would've stayed but he was too scared from the injury he got last year and he will take that Saints ST's to another level Bama struggled mightily on ST's after he got hurt and he had 2 pick 6's in 3 games as well. If he would've come back this wouldn't have even been anything close to a debate, it would've been Bama by a mile.

Not a chance. UGA's backfield is a joke even with them.

Ole Miss returns two All-Americans safeties, one being the only returning First Team AA. Find me a school in the country that can say that.

But I'm sure y'all know better, right? Prewitt and Conner shite on any safety duo your team has.

Normally when Ole Miss fans post shite like this, it is strictly for lulz purposes. This could actually be true though. Cody Prewitt is a returning first-team All-American and plays his best games against big opponents. Sure he probably won't do much in the NFL but he's great in college.

Tony Conner just showed glimpses last year of the kind of game-changer he will be in the NFL after he goes in the top two rounds in 2016. There's a reason Nick Saban wanted this guy more than Kim Kardashian wants access to an NBA locker room.

It's not like they're the only quality safeties on the roster either as Anthony Alford, CJ Hampton, Chief Brown and Mike Hilton are all quality depth.
