Here's where I say I hope it doesn't hit my ex-wife.

Here's where I say that.

We've been dealing with stuff since last night with that front coming through. Left about 10,000 here without power and some minimal damage.

Checking in to say I'm ok. We had tornadoes all around us last night though I'm farther South - close to Knoxville.

Several counties near me lost homes, stores, and even Knox had some damage. NWS is sending agents to my county (probably one of the areas that bordered where the big tornadoes hit).

Anyone else who lives in E. TN check-in. Things got bad and reports are just now coming out for the smaller places.

Knox County got clipped by the tornado, but mainly just got hit with heavy rain and some hail.

My folks are in West Knoxville and didn't get hit as far as I could tell. They said they heard some thunder but nothing else. However, my older brother was driving back to Johnson City in it and that was apparently unpleasant, but he made it okay.

I know we're known for weather that changes in an instant but I've never seen anything like yesterday/last night. Storms would come and disappear like crazy. Apparently Claiborne and Campbell Co. both got hit with tornadoes - the one in Claiborne took out their Sheriff's home and took out a grocery store among other things. And near the Knox/Union Co line got some activity.

Hope everyone stays well. According to the news, KUB is working on restoring power everywhere and says a lot of people are without power.
