A rumor on another thread about Malik Jefferson at the LSU camp...

Can anyone confirm that he ran a 4.39 at the LSU camp? That's what he ran at The Opening (at 6'2 and 225), and a poster on TexAgs is saying that he (the poster, that is) as at the LSU camp and just watched Jefferson run a 4.39. I have no idea if that's true, but the dude is a freak.

Edit for clarity: I did not hear that Malik was going to be at the LSU camp, so I'm skeptical of the rumor. I am posting this to try and found out if he is really there and, if he is, if he really ran a 4.39

I'm not. Though the poster over at TexAgs might be. I didn't think Malik was at the LSU camp, which is why I started this thread.

Another one of the backs for LSU, who weighs 240 pounds, ran a 4.41. Another ran a 4.35 and another the 4.39 you are referring to. But none of them are qualified to play in the SEC because they are not heading to Bama at this time.

I thought the same thing. I understand they're fast and I'm happy LSU is in good position to land them, but I'll believe those times when they post them at the combine.

so are heights and weights for that matter. everyone always shows up 1 to 2 inches shorter than they claim.
