He's extremely awkward to watch on TV. Gameday.

I have noticed this. I don't have any love nor hate for Finebaum (although I get a kick out of the vitriolic reactions he gets online), but his TV personality is only rivaled by ESPN's Bill Simmons in the awkwardness department.

I'll do my best to give the SECN crew a fair shot, but Gameday has been a staple of my football season Saturdays that I'm not sure of I can give 'em up.

Was the same for me ... until Erin Andrews left the show. She was serious eye candy in her day.

There was a girl at the SC Shrine Bowl for ESPN this past year. They should sign her up ... she's in the same class with EA in her prime.

Sam Ponder is a looker, though

IIRC, SEC Network pried Kaylee Hartung from the lhn, too.

Desmond is more guilty of that, tbh. Herbie is probably the best of the bunch, IMO. And it pains me to say that, since he's a fricking buckeye, but he heaps praise on the SEC teams just as much as the others, tbh.

Thats the problem with Herbie--he sucks up to everyone. He tries to be the good guy but is really just a slimey little weasel.

You have some guys who are overly negative about everything like Jim Gray and some guys who are suckups like Herbie. Not sure which is worse.

I've watched the first couple days of Paul on ESPNU, kind of embarrassed to say but I've enjoyed it. I just wish he'd talk less about Alabama and Auburn and more about all the other SEC teams.

I'm giving SECN a chance since I'll watch it on the night of A&M/SC.

If PAWL is reserved and leaves his persona behind I have a better chance of keeping it there.

I will likely switch back and forth. Gameday has become my ritual and that's a HARD habit to break.

GameDay more than likely. I don't want all SEC, all the time.

Herbie might suck up, but I'll at least give him credit for his knowledge and presentation.

GAMEDAY.

Paul Finebaum was goddamn awful on ESPN. So awkward. Best part about that was watching all the other guys make fun of him.

Also, I never got all the hate for Tim Tebow when he was playing. I thought it was pretty shitty honestly.............but not as shitty as his broadcasting skills last year. I thought he was really bad in that role and annoying to listen to. Ill probably flip to SEC nation when they're talking about some Baylor or Oregon shite, but honestly there's no comparison cast-wise.

Being hungover while watching Paul Finebaum and Tim Tebow talk sounds like something that would happen in my personal hell.
