Although he was 2-0 as a starter vs Clem5on he was on that '08 team that lost to them (but he didn't play). Glad he isn't counting that disaster.

Did anyone ask him about the night before the Peach Bowl?

I can respect a man that drinks a good bourbon though.

He said that the rumors were absolutely not true. That it happened the first night in ATL, not the night before the game.

I'll add it after I jump back on the laptop.

Taneyhill and Garcia both knew how to party ... no doubt about it.

The difference is, Taneyhill eventually grew-up. Garcia likely never will.

That's funny but I'm more interested in the Pappy bourbon he's drinking.

I know!

I just added a lot more.

The last two are pretty crazy. Apparently, Eric Hyman got him kicked off the team.

His wife was pushing for him to get the boot because it was her event that Garcia mouthed off at or something.

Regardless, he was brought back with several stipulations to stay on the team, one being a drug test. He couldn't stay sober and got kicked off after that failed test

The rumored circumstances of that are pretty hilarious too.

Garcia had been celebrating an o-lineman's birthday and drank before going to the leadership conference. At the conference they were talking how to lead/good examples of leaders etc. and how ever was leading the conference compared Tim Tebow to Garcia and said he was a much better example of leadership.

Garcia got pissed and cursed out whoever was talking and got kinda aggressive about it, and thats when they smelled the booze.

At least thats the story I got

I can't imagine Garcia ever being a HS head coach.

I know Taneyhill did really well as a HC at a small private HS here and took a step up by taking the Union job. Any Gamecocks know how he as done the past couple of years for them?

Go to the town of Chesterfield SC and say that and see what kind of response you get.
