The wife is looking to re-enter the work force to help fund the kids impending college entry.
She's got a very strong background in sales success, but is having a hard time finding part-time or flexible "real" sales positions.
She's not interested in Avon, car, insurance, etc. She's looking for legitimate business to business sales.
Any advice on where to look for these types of opportunities? She's tried Monster, but it's mostly junk.

Most good sales jobs are going to be full-time. I've known SAHMs who have sold Thirty One bags, Arbonne, Premier Jewelry, etc., but that's about it.

Durable medical equipment companies usually have flexible schedules, especially with mom and pop operations.

How long has she been out of the workforce? That can have an impact on the quality of the position for which she would be considered.

Awesome! Prostituion, Uber, pics... I feel like I finally belong.
For the past 10 years or so she has been very successful as a SAHM selling jewelry through one of the home party companies. She wins the reward trips every year and has been very successful. Unfortunately, with those jobs, the ladies make a lot of money for the company and the ladies make a little money and get tons of free jewelry. Unfortunately, it doesn't pay as much as Auburn charges.
She's been incredibly successful. The girl is an awesome sales person. Just trying to find an "in".

Real Estate is about as flexible as you can get in sales.

Definite high end escort material then. Part time, flexible hours. good pay. probable repeat business. good parties.

Telecom would be good. Plenty of folks out there paying commission only for B2B sales.

There's some part-time pharma jobs. Not as many as there used to be. Check the contract companies like Quintiles or InVentiv. There might be some home health or light medical sales jobs that are part time, too.

We live in the Ham. Pharma would be a good fit. How do you find the opportunities?

Check the websites of InVentiv and Quintiles. Indeed and Careerbuilder seem to have more medical stuff than monster. She'll need to know someone. Unless she's a dime. So she'll have to work back channels once she finds an open position that works.
Eta: Publicis has a PT position open on Bham. I found that shite googling Bham part time pharma job.

You generally have to have a strong background in healthcare to land these. Especially as a drug rep or device sales. The home stuff may be different. I have to deal with several and you have to have that background to sell anything to hospitals.
Healthcare has really put a lot of constraints on sales. Gone are the days when a woman could walk in, frick the CEO and sell the hospital $70,000 worth of useless shite anymore.
