Gavin Stansbury left the team due to pending legal charges. We've known about them for a while but, apparently, his original story about an identical 6'4" 270 pound black man assaulting a Rice student was less than truthful.

Davis was never projected as a starter. Harris, Everett, Ellis, Raven, and Matthews were the starting dbs.
Stansbury didn't do a whole lot until last season and the only reason he started was because Obioha was hurt. Arnold started the bowl game.
