If one of them proves they can be an effective pocket passer then they'll be fine. Both are better athletes than QBs right now, though.

I think if we get to Foster, our 3rd QB, we are, like every team would be, screwed.

To increase the chance one of these 2 scholarship QBs gets injured?

Nearly every team in the nation is screwed beyond belief if they're on their 3rd QB. I'm a lot more worried about whether either of the two QBs will be any good than I am about only having 2 scholarship QBs.

I'm not happy with it but Harris is the real deal. Hopefully we stay healthy.

Is this a joke? We just invited a scholarship baseball player to be our third string QB. We have no depth!

Assuming that a) Jennings and Harris were out and b) the coaches don't want to play Foster (the aforementioned baseball player), then maybe.

But I'm not sure who would run it? Maybe just give the ball to Fournette and say, "run, Leonard."

Threads about LSU, the poster you responded to is a Texas A&M fan and yet here you are talking about Arkansas. Makes sense.

not really. Almost all teams have at the very least a QB that was recruited for that position.

Bama would have improved last year with their 3rd or 4th guy playing instead of the 2nd guy. Would LSU have been devastated with Mett playing over JJ and LEE? Many CFB teams have guys that can contribute that is a third choice.

Another consideration for LSU this year. If one QB goes down, the playbook will probably be limited for the second guy.
