Rewatching some of the SEC Media day highlights and all I hear is Prescott this, Prescott that.

Fill me in....

cause all I see is 10 TDs/7 INTs/56% completion.

Ready for Bo to show out on Thurs!

If you can't see him interviewed, watch his progression as the year went along last year, and figure out why people believe in just how good he can be, no one will ever be able to explain it to you.

We all know key injuries beat us last year.

This doesn't look like a key injury.

Line broke down (due to injuries)... forcing Bo to run.

But thanks for proving my point.

It was a read option run, are you really that stupid?

Here's my thing though. I think the guy will be good (could pass for 2500 and rush for 1000 good) but his "progression" during last year wasn't THAT impressive. The defenses he did well against were Texas A&M, Rice and Ole Miss. Ole Miss being the best out of those three. Outside of those he didn't do anything spectacular.

Well it's always a good sign when his best games come in November/December.

I agree with everything in your post HJJ. But the one thing he does better than almost every other SEC QB is consistency. I think that's a big factor for our potential success this year.

I agree. But you have to look at the defenses he was playing against. Our defense was above average, I'll give him that. But his best games of the season were against the worst defense in the SEC then against a C-USA team (Yes, a ten win team but still a C-USA team).

I think he's going to be good but it's not like he lit up good defenses last year.

He got out of his "funk" that he was in early in the season and was consistently good to end the season. Throwing for 150 yards in under one quarter to beat your rival is a good reason to be excited.

Agreed. I think his "funk" was due to the fact that he was splitting time with TR. I know it sounds like I making an excuse, but it's hard to hit your peak when you don't really know when/if you'll get in the game. I like the fact that Mullen, the team, and the fans have given the reins to DP. I think he's more than capable of taking on the leadership role.
