From the sound of it, I can't really blame him. It's one thing to lie to the media, because, you know, frick the media. But don't screw with your players if you know you have one foot out the door.

Not even close. Dan McGugin went 197-55-19. Red Sanders went 36-22-2. J. Ray Morrison went 29-22-2. Franklin went 24-15. Three other coaches beat that win record, though I'm going to let that slide because they all had losing records overall.

Yeah, Franklin is one of those coaches that you're glad are yours as long as they're winning, but everyone knows is pretty much an arse.
There were couple instances on Nashville radio and on Twitter that he showed himself to be exactly that.

Quite. He was an arse, we all knew it. But he was our arse. Now that he's no longer our arse, we -- and his players, obviously -- have no incentive to overlook it.

If I recall correctly Franklin didn't like the way one of our players played/acted. So Franklin got up in the players face yelling at him. This action disturbed Mama Grantham and the older Bear mother went and protected her cub.
