He hasn't taken a solid shot at Tennessee in a while, and I think he's due for a good Volunteer shot across the bow. But never count out Bama, and there's plenty of material for UGA and Richt.

Then again, he is known to take shots at the current team on top, so is auburn next for a good Spurrierism? And Florida is ripe for a shot, but would OBC ever take a stab at his former program?

I think it's Tennessee, but don't be surprised if someone new slips in...

Not as much this year as in past. UGA beat them last year, they didn't win the East, and none of our guys have been suspended for when we play them (knocks loud on wood). Easier targets than UGA this year IYAM.

It will be Mizzou.

I didn't even think about Mizzou...which is why he probably won't pick them. Not enough attention in a Mizzou burn. Bama fans are the easiest, because we melt at the slightest hint of insult...but eventually it gets old watching us go nuts.

But with Kiffin at Bama, we could slip in there again.

I'm thinking everybody will get "Spurriered" at least once and yes Bama is an easy target

This post got me curious and I do not want to miss the Old Ball Coach so,

quote:

Tuesday morning, South Carolina Gamecocks Head Coach Steve Spurrier will start the day at a 10:00 a.m. press conference, followed by student athletes A.J. Cann, J.T. Surratt, and Dylan Thompson answering questions from the media.

He wasted all his ammo on Bama. I don't think they can really talk about Tennessee either unless he wants some backlash from that 2016 commitment

Wouldn't count on it being Auburn. Gus and Spurrier are buds.

I was planning on starting a prediction thread for this too

He will take jabs at Clemson, Bama (because he has an inferiority complex), Tennessee, and A&M.

So Bama fans are thinking about what Spurrier is going to say and starting threads about it? Seems like Spurrier's talking has worked, he is in y'all's heads.

I didn't know that. It kind of makes sense though........seeing as how those are the two sharpest O minds the SEC has seen in the last 25 years. (I would rank Sumlin a very close third)

Swinney, Saban, Jones, and Richt are all fair game in SOS's eyes
