I bet cj has smoked before too. I wonder if players start getting asked about this.

Would love to be a fly on the wall in that meeting.

I support this decision. If we sent NM he would be bombarded with questions about his arrest / use of pot

Probably the right call, but now his teammates have to answer those questions.

Hypothetical...

What would happen if a reporter started asking players about whether they smoke pot or not?

The other two were gonna be asked anyway.... It'll be way less of a distraction now that nm isn't going. Gus will be the main one having to answer to the media tomorrow.

Two weeks from now no one is going to give a shite about the citation or whatever.

Lots of lying would be going around.

With the push toward legalization, that will probably start in the next few years to force the issue.

IIRC, Gus is first up tomorrow. ESPNU will be carrying it live starting at 11 CST.

Serious question

If a team meeting is called, any chance NM is kicked off?

Would be ridiculous to kick him of the team for this unless there have been other issues not made public. Probably more to address the team to put an end to this shite and instruct them on how to handle media inquiries.

I don't see that happening. It is probably the first chance Gus has had to put Nick in front of the team. First dose of medicine for Nick, IMO.
