Been doing it since 2006. Today was the last time.

I can't put into words how happy I am.

Everyone congratulate me and post an emoticon, please.

Grats.
Wife is interviewing in Atl later this month- commuting from Athens east side. Help me convince her this is bad idea.

Depends on the money. If my prvious employer gave me 100% raise id still do it. They only offered me 50%.

Not worth it, considering my new job working from home.

Thinking about it.... the best part is being offered a 50% raise and essentially telling them to shove it up their arse, without hesitation... they were completely dumbfounded.

ETA-

Great job on the emoticons yall, but also need some upvotes too. Thanks.

Ill piggyback your thread rig, I turned in my 2 weeks notice yesterday. Another company offered me a 35% raise over what I currently make, plus my commute will go from 35 mins to 10.

No brainer :)

Congratulations to all of you new job-holders.

I just wish I could retire.

45 here, that's the plan at least. Should be around the same time that you're 52. Want to come fish with me in the keys? I'll supply the boat you supply the blow.
