A lot of people claim that Wilson fell in Bielema's lap (like delicious giblet gravy), but I would argue that Bielema's recruiting skills should get the credit.

What say the Rant?

Bert would be more likely to compare Wilson to a Blue Bell pint of "The Great Divide".

Choice was Auburn or Wisconsin. As far as I recall, Wisconsin had their whole huge OL back and was in a pretty good competitive position in the B1G. Auburn was looking at rebuilding after losing a senior laden class after 2010.

I would say yes because iirc at the time most assumed he was going to Auburn since it was viewed as a better fit for his skillset.

Go try to chug some brown gravy directly from the boat and see if you don't dribble.

I'll wait.

Auburn also declined to say he'd likely be the starter.

True. It would hit his gut on the way down.

A simple yes or no will do fine, no reason to accuse our women of being obsessed.

Ummmmm, wasn't Wilson already a household name from NC State? I seem to recall there being a lot of excitement behind where he was going. The man was created before Bert got him.

As Pavoloco already said, it was Auburn or UW and UW had far more pieces in place, they just had to find a replacement for Scott Tolzien. It was a common sense move.
