Nickel – Donte Jackson – Playing on both sides of the football, there may not have been another prospect that did more. He was picking balls off on defense, returning them for touchdowns, making plays out of the slot on offense. Jackson was another candidate as the overall MVP.

LB – Roquan Smith – It’s almost unfair to list Smith as a linebacker because he has a safety skill set. He was extremely disruptive, picking off three passes including a pick-6 on Wednesday. He would be a perfect fit for a school that uses a hybrid linebacker/safety role. Florida and Georgia are considered the favorites.

Pretty certain we get Roquan. I was most concerned about AU, but his last few interviews made it sound like they were no longer being considered. UF does have a very appealing depth chart at LB, though. A very being reason they're going to land Adonis Thomas.

TE – CJ Conrad – With several talented tight ends in attendance, Conrad seemed to be the toughest to defend. A Kentucky commit, Conrad flashed really good hands and the body control to make catches in any scenario.

I think we're still in consideration, but we've definitely dropped with him.

Will uga have a hybrid LB/S type position?

No clue exactly what Pruitt will do on D, but we'll say we have a position like that or that we'll create one if that's what it takes to land him. That's just how recruiting works.

The Barnett to Ridley connection is reality.

I'd never heard Ridley having any interest in OSU but an insider who went to the opening said if he makes an official to Columbus "watch out."

Was he one of the 5 guys who joined on the same day during the spring game weekend?

S – Justin Reid – An uncommitted prospect with range and ball skills, Reid was among the most complete safeties at the event and every time he had an opportunity to make a play, he did.

Kinda pissed we're slow playing this kid. I'll have the angry if he goes anywhere but LSU.

Ridley was extremely impressive. Also really liked the receiver committed to Clemson. Tremendous upside.
