I really wanted to see Tyler Bray sling the rock around to Justin Hunter, Cordarrelle Patterson and Da'Rick Rodgers.
That would have been fun to watch.

'83 nebraska ... irving fryar/tom rathman/mike rozier/turner gill ... juggernaut offensive team that scored at will on everybody ... lost the title game to miami when osborne went for the win ...
'96 uf gators ... wuerffel/fred taylor/green/anthony/hilliard ... lost a close one to fsu in their annual game, then annihilated them in the title game after a relatively close game against bama in the sec title game ... don't remember fsu bitching about the rematch as much as lsu, though ...

and if i recall, none of those wr were your prototypical "6 feet and 200 lbs" wr ... they were 5'10" at best, but in that precise offense, their quickness and route running made them unstoppable against most defenses ... fsu was probably their lowest output ...

quote:I left out Johnny Manziel because I was giving credit to Texas A&M for the offensive tackles they have had recently. Cedric Ogbuehi will soon be added to that list, FWIW (supposed to be a high draft pick). They could realistically have three offensive tackles taken in the 1st round for three consecutive years.

That was one hell of an offense. I loved to watch them. Wuerffel was like a surgeon passing the ball.
