Im leaving at first light. 7-8 hour drive then its beach time. First time renting this condo, hopefully its nice.

I'm jealous... I need a beach trip in the worst way... Going to Pickwick for a weekend in a couple weeks but lake trips just dont compare to beach trips.

Ive never been to Gulf Shores... Never really been the the beach west of Destin. Ive only done a few of the beaches in Florida.
As a kid, my parents always took me to Clearwater. My wife and I did Destin a few times but for the most part, we do the Caribbean now.

Yea I'd rather go to Destin. Moms parents rent out a beach house every summer in Gulf Shores for that side of the family. Going on about 6 years in a row and I just can't seem to get excited about it this year.

When youre in BFE it is. Going to ship island or w/e for one day casino most of the next.
