“It’s just the coaches, really,” Rochester said. “[Defensive line coach Rodney] Garner is the best coach I’ve met in the recruiting process. He puts out the best defensive linemen in the NFL, and all that great stuff. I like the way Carl Lawson and Montravius Adams play. It looks like they have the best d. line coach."
Julian Rochester went on to say that he nearly committed to Auburn during his last visit, yet held off... After Auburn, Georgia and Florida State (in no order) bring up the rear as of now. He has visited Auburn several times and has been to many games. He has nothing but positive things to say about Auburn coaches, specifically Rodney Garner.

That was my first thought as well...

If UGA gets TT and Huggins this year, I guess they could probably afford to miss out on him. However, he better hope that Garner is still feeling like coaching by the time he gets there because when he stops caring, he simply DGAS but just cashes the paycheck.

BTW, thanks for Rodney Garner and all of the recruits, Georgia!

Let's not get into that. It was better for both parties. Let's leave it at that.

Hey I loved Garner for a long time and even stood up for him against other GA fans at times, but in all honestly, he was mailing it in the last couple of years at UGA. In hindsight, UGA should have encouraged him to go back to UT. It may have been the 3-4 or not getting along with Grantham, but the man just wasn't doing shite all by the last year.

Stop cluttering the recruiting board with worthless tit for tats.

As for Rochester, damn good looking prospect. It's a long way to go till 2016 but it never hurts to lead early.

Geno Atkins, Marcus Stroud, Charles Grant, and Richard Seymour never wore Auburn jerseys. I think we'll let him know that while he's on campus

Julian Rochester is probably well aware that Rodney Garner hasn't been at Auburn long, IYAM.

It's unlikely that any of that is significant. There's no great coaching advantage between Garner and Rocker. He'll go where he's comfortable.

McEachern means he will leave the state. Well if Auburn counts as leaving the state.

RG was a fat drunk disgruntled pos by the time he left, but that subject = :beatdeadhorse: :beatdeadhorse: :beatdeadhorse: so leave it alone, at least on the Recruiting Board.

Well now, there is no need to lie to the AU fans make up for SoGaFan's needless crap talking. One is a clear better recruiter if he gets back to form and the other is a drastically better coach. Perhaps that does tend to even out in the end, though.

As for Rochester, he is a beast. It is really early, but congrats to AU on getting the lead, this should be a good battle for the next class. McEachern really sucks, not sure what issues the coaches there have with UGA, but they clearly do have one.

I'm sure Rodney will tell him to ask Tracy which school he thought was the better option when he was choosing a college.

Shucks, I sure hope our coaches have thought of that
