Vernon Hargreaves is so good that it doesn't matter who he lines up with, they're automatically the best CB tandem in the league.

UF is DBU just as much as LSU is.

So now the Fournette delusion is leaking into other position groups as well? This should be fun.

Recruit perception: LSU gets the nod as DBU with recruits across the country. Alabama was the second most mentioned program, followed by Virginia Tech and Ohio State, but LSU was consistently talked about among the recruits surveyed. Tyrann Mathieu and Patrick Peterson were singled out as examples of why prospects were naming LSU as the best place for defensive backs. It's tough to blame them, as the Tigers have had a lot of success developing this position group.

Recruit's take: "My top three would be LSU, Alabama and Virginia Tech."

Except our corners are not incoming freshmen. To deny that White and Robinson are not as/more talented as any other corner duo is wrong.

Robinson and White are the real deal. Robinson only had like 3 weeks with the team before the season and still was starting by mid season. By the end of the year, they were unbelievable. Seriously may become one of the best tandems LSU has had.

Uhhh, your safety play is shite, so DBU is not LSU this year. Prewitt, Elston, Conner, Golson, Jones/Shepard #tNewDBU

I'm biased and think LSU will have the best tandem, but think it's odd that SDS's list from #1-4 is completely arse backwards in terms of productivity from last year.

Lets wait at least one season before you start stealing titles. There is no real arguement that LSU hasnt produced the best DB's in the SEC at least for the last 5 or so years.

... and SCAR.

I'd like to see a break-out of how many active NFL DBers there are from each school in the league at the moment.

DJ Swearinger - Houston
Stephon Gilmore - Buffalo
Darian Stewart - St Louis
Dunta Robinson - Kansas City
Captain Munnerlyn - Carolina
Jimmy LeGree - Arizona
Jonathan Joseph - Houston
Chris Culliver - San Fran
Emanuel Cook - Baltimore
Sheldon Brown - Free Agent
Akeem Auguste - Seattle
Antonio Allen - NY Jets

"Florida All-American Vernon Hargreaves, who could be the top corner in college football, but he lacks a proven counterpart. True freshmen Jalen Tabor or Duke Dawson could be that guy, as could Brian Poole. The Gators will have another top defensive backfield, but Hargreaves’ counterpart has yet to emerge."

If one of our young CBs turn out to be HALF as good as Hargreaves...we will have the top backfield.

You aren't alone. Many of your yellow and purple clad friends share that trait.

It's all good. Let the peeing match continue.
