My Dad use to call my brother and I in the kitchen some days and we'd just cry together. It was amazing and I felt such a connection with my father and brother through it. We wouldn't even say anything.

I can still hear him.

"DanMullins4Life, come in here. It's crying time."

I'd walk in and he wouldn't say anything. He would just start with a soft sniffle and I would grab my waist and blink my eyes around thirty times and we would both cry and I would leave.

Apparently other people didn't have cry times with their fathers. A guy from work claims he never even hugged his father.

This isn't weird. At all. Except it is. Very weird.

My father and I have a very emotional bond. He taught me that crying was essential to living and that, scientifically, crying was the healthiest form of exercise.

When we would go on family vacations which consisted of a long time spent driving, we would sometimes cry (except Mom, she was driving) to pass the time, like a game. Dad would initiate it by whining and pawing at his seat belt strap and my brother and I would just start bawing and we would continue crying for about half an hour.

I couldn't imagine not knowing if my father loved me or not like some of the responses in this thread.

This is a terrible... and weird... troll thread. I'm not even sure how this is supposed to troll.

It is really weird.

Don't trolls usually try to illicit strong opinions?...make posters angry or force them to ridicule the OP?

I don't understand how this one works. It's not something that would make people mad and it isn't so dumb that I feel the need to ridicule him, it's just really weird.
