Texas Tech dismissed Nigel Bethel, their top recruit in the last class, after he punched the Red Raider's best women's basketball player during a pick up game and broke a bone in her face.

They want equality and shite but can't take a punch in a pickup game?

1)How are Aggies going to take the moral high ground considering they are currently leading in the Fulmer cup standings?

2)The Aggies need him a little bit more than Baylor

3)Why did you even drag Baylor into this topic in the first place?

because outside of one incident, all of our arrests have been very minor. And this is the SEC, no one can take the high ground on this stuff

Were the Miami and FSU offers even committable when he was coming out?

looked like all of 247 crystal ball'd him to Miami, I'd bet his Miami offer got pulled in the last weeks leading up to NSD, FSU was full by then of course, which is how we got JoJo Robinson just reverse the schools.

He officially visited Utah, WVU, Miami and TTech so other than Cincy and the shitty Florida schools Texas Tech was probably his best offer that late in the game. He didn't have SEC offers outside of Tennessee, Ole Miss, Kentucky and I think MSU, which we all know their game plan at the moment is to offer every damn kid that properly tie their cleats as early as possible show their names show up as having top 300 kids interested in them.

We've got a couple Booker T. Washington kids on our roster, I wouldn't mind taking a risk on him if he wasn't listed at 5-9 so probably legit about 5'7.5". One thing I really appreciate about Bielema is when JoJo Robinson got arrested a couple months ago and then cleared his booking height and weight matched his listed height/weight.

Because Baylor is the premier program in Texas and they are constantly trying to knock them off the pedestal.

I remember vaguely following his recruitment because he was a TN target but I don't know where he sat on the board. I always thought he was a Cane lock but if The U didn't want him then his size either really handicapped him or he was just marginal talent.

Or they could've seen the head case in him, but Miami usually doesn't mind having some "edgier" players on the roster.

I didn't know until today that he ended up a Red Raider. Thought it was unusual.

It was routine when Nutt and Petrino were coaching that a 6-4 260 lb DE, became 6-2 245 when processed through the county jail.
