Our QB situation this year is thin with Jennings (Tr Soph w/ 1 start) and Brandon Harris (Tr FR). After that - just walkons.

For LSU that I can recall:
'99 or '00: maybe Booty, Nall, and Rohan?
'04: Marcus Randall, JaMarcus, and Matt Flynn all played
'08: Perrilloux pulled a Perrilloux sometime before the season started; Andrew Hatch, Jarrett Lee, and Jordan Jefferson all started some games.

I think UF had to play a 3rd string QB in '11.

Others?

Kiehl Frazier played some in 2011, as he was third team behind Barrett Trotter and Clint Moseley.

Jonathan Wallace played some in 2012 (actually started quite a few games), as he was third team behind Clint Mosley and Kiehl Frazier.

Also it was in the early 2000s Houston Nutt had to go to the intramural fields to find a starting QB during the season.

Played or were needed to play? One of Shula's years, I think Bama started a 4th stringer one game. Avalos.

Brandon mothafrickin Avalos

He dated a good friend of mine and his parents would come drag him out of her apt late nights bc we were smokin......we probably contributed greatly to his awfulness.

Yeah he started the homecoming game in 2003 against Southern Miss. We ran the ball like 57 times and threw like 4 passes, still won.

Our 3rd string true freshman Damien Williams played against arkansas and ole miss last year in those two overtime wins that sec rant fans like to bring up as negatives.

Joe Cox played in 2006 for Georgia and led them to a 14-pt fourth quarter comeback to beat Colorado.

Hines Ward started for a good portion of the second half of 1995.

The sad thing is that some of the QBs Bama ran out there during the dark years weren't even 3rd string. The were 1st team or the back-up.

That's why I don't understand the hate JPW gets on here from some Bama fans. Compared to the poo-poo platter that had come before, Wilson was Johnny Unitas.

I dont know how many QB's auburn played with during the 2012 shite show, but I think 3. I think Frazier, Moseley and Jonathan Wallace at the end.

In 2011, we had the three headed monster of Barrett Trotter, Clint Moseley and Kiehl Frazier. (vanilla cam, crying cam and mocha cam)

What's worse is that Avalon was a walk on.
