I wanna be like you when I grow up

I plant plots for turkey and deer, but a garden would be awesome. I would probably have to manage a lot of critters though......seeing as if it lives in Southwest Ga., then it's probably on my land. I'll be sure to take you up on some knowledge when I quit dragging my feet.

I had bad luck with my backyard garden for years except for corn, tomatoes & peppers. the deer ate up my okra & the deer & rabbits ate up my beans. Unfortunately between population encroachment(ran off the deer) & the explosion of the coyote population (rarely see a rabbit) my garden thrives.

I'd trade all my beans & okra to see a healthy rabbit & deer population again in my little corner of Douglas County. I've got a few wild turkeys now & that's about it...

Def. a pepper head. I love to experiment & make sauces & I'm just learning to work with the "superhots"... Imma working a coupla CSA organic farmer mkts. every week with my niece who learned jams & jellies from my mom & also has dibs on salsa's & sauces produced as long as they're ph4.0 or lower with her cottage license using our certified organic designation. I've just sold plaques/birdhouses/planters/shelves/wine racks etc. so far but our salsa's & sauces are gonna be winners for the fall festival season...

That's awesome.

You need to get your e-market up and running.....

I like a good thin vinegar/red-pepper mopping sauce.....

My grandmother made the best, but now I have to buy Shealy's when I can find it.

Dallas, have you thought about doing a "Florida Trellis" for your tomatoes? It's a great system. About to get mine staked in soon ... (pics coming)

Farm partners directing some work as we lay down weed blocker.

Here's Mrs. JacketFan77 helping stake down weed-blocker in the rolling greenhouse:
