Serious question, why do you think he seems to fumble more and often in the least opportune time?

I doubt it's anything he's trying to correct. Yeldon will once again lead every statistical category for RBs in SEC play.

Because he's trying to too hard to get an extra few yards as opposed to going down.

Inconsistency. I just did a google image search on Yeldon and there are pictures that show him holding the ball high and tight and then there are some pics where he is holding the ball out.
Pad level as well. Yeldon runs upright instead of lower to the ground. Makes the ball an easier target.

Bingo. That is the one downfall of taller RBs. Its just natural to want to run upright.
