How long do you think you will be posting on internet message boards?

I know we have a variety of ages on this board, but is there a stopping point for anyone? It's a weird idea to me. I started posting on the DR in 06 and visit this site multiple time per day. However, I feel at some point I will probably be too busy to keep up my posting pace. at the same time, this is usually my go to source for information on the dawgs. I think I will continue to visit this site until it dies or the government enforces some communist, internet regulations.
randm thread I know, but I was just thinking how weird it would be to still be posting in 2020 and have the member since 2012 tag.

yeah it's really weird that TD is very much a part of my everyday life for the past 8 years. i dont see why it wouldnt be for the foreseeable future. odd.

it really is odd. I quit facebook with zero problems, but I would have a hard time never logging on to this site.

Maybe those of us that don’t forsee posting on message boards much longer should set a retirement date……
Maybe, when the clock ticks down and reads 00:00 of UGA’s last football game this year, we close this e-chapter and move onward. Interesting thread...I've been posting on some variety of forum as far back as the Usenet days...early to mid 90's....
Feels like the same people, different handles.....over and over I believe my days are numbered..It seems as if I've seen everything on the web and..these days. I use it only for it's original intended use...research........ otherwise...it's starting to feel like an old friend that sleeps on my sofa night after night and eats my food....time for him to go.......this is my last digital footprint on the interwebz...no social media...no nothing.....
The old lady says my time could be spent better elsewhere....one day I might get my balls back...probably not..but...oh well...she's probably right....
