Keep the cross division rivalries.

New Cross Division rivalries:
Auburn-Bama
UT-UF
LSU-UGA

Auburn gets to play all our rivals. TSIO is maintained. LSU gets rid of their "disadvantage". Seems like everybody would be happy in this scenario.

For those who can't read:
This keeps the Iron Bowl intact.

What is it about Alabama schools and their obsession with easier schedules? How about we just keep the West as powerful as it is? I like the competition for the West title each year.

Alabama felt it would give us an advantage in recruiting... USC, UK, Vandy preferred playing UT...

I may be mistaken, but UT has a little bit of a thing with UK, VU, and UF. Not sure UT would agree to this

I thought having UF was an automatic hard schedule

Move Auburn to the East.

Move Mizzou to the West.

Move Bama to the East.

Move Vandy to the west.

The need for a permanent cross division opponent is eliminated.

Nah, if AU were to switch with an East team it should be Missouri.

Well they keep the UF rivalry. The other two teams suck so who cares.

Believe me, I'm the rare LSU fan who loves playing Florida every single year. I've never complained about playing Florida.

Not that Ags have any room to talk, but why are Auburn fans so willing to give up a 100+ year old rivalry?

Maybe...I care far more about preserving rivalries with Alabama and Florida/UGA than I do about Vanderbilt and Kentucky.

Our disadvantage is easy to see. Scheduling office is located in Alabama. Alabama is full of fanatical, mostly crazy, gumps/barners who will kill historical landmarks (and each other), drag sweaty ball sacks against poor unsuspecting rival fans, and even jump 3 rows on top of frat boys for disrespecting a retarded son. LSU is not located in Alabama. Disadvantage LSU.

Why would that be the pairings? It would be UGA/UT and UF/LSU.
