I think tyler wilson benefitted a lot from petrino's system in 2011. Not saying he wasnt a good QB, but 2012 is probably closer to his actual ability

Not every great college player who doesn't do well in the NFL was a "system" player.

Some players excel at the college level and simply don't at the pro level.

"System" players tend to put up ridiculous stats and then don't even get drafted. Think like Texas Tech's QB's in the Leech era.

Kelvin Shepherd- solid linebacker but made to look like a stud because he was surrounded by beast.

I'm tempted to include Julio Jones, but I actually think he overachieved considering the talent he had to work with on the other side of the pass.

and now i remember why I don't read the rant. That is just stupid if anything Bama's system held him back

I like Greene too. I just think he benefitted from circumstances more than actual talent.

Greene had a nasty play action fake bro. Now, he didn't have the strongest arm in the world but there are tons of good college QB's that didn't make it in the pro's. David Greene had a nasty playaction game.

Matt Flynn over David Greene, even though Greene is probably the most forgettable QB in SEC history.
