re: Gotta give it to Bama

I loved the Bama ad. It was one of the few that actually captured the essence of the school/traditions/SEC. Homer or not, I also loved the LSU ad. Even though not a Louisiana rapper, I thought it gave a good, laid back (or loungin') feel of LSU and Louisiana. Kentucky was god-awful, as was Auburn's. I felt like someone was gonna yell "Worldstar Hip-Hop" at the end of the Barner cell-phone video

I've been on sports message boards too long. I saw that tag line and I initially just automatically assumed it was a sex metaphor referring to what the team does to opponents.

The Bama one was easily, and I mean easily, the best of the bunch. The only one that comes close is UT. OM is good and so is States. UGA has a cool one. The rest suck. UK's was the worst. I could have made that commercial. The Aubie one looked like a cell phone video. The Florida, LSU and USC ones were trashy. Vandy was boring. A&M was about a dog. Arky was redneck. Mizzou was ruined by the female rugby player

I agree.. I did enjoy Alabama's commercial.

was a really good commerical...but bama's use of houndstooth is getting a little over the top.
