Did anyone watch the Outside the Lines report on this? It was fricking brutal.

There was a guy with Tillman when they were being fired upon that lived, he was one of the interviewees. The other guy they interviewed was one of the people that were shooting at them.

Made for some pretty good tv.

If there's one Soldier in the world I wouldn't want shooting at me, it would be another American Soldier. It's a wonder this doesn't happen more than it does down range. Very sad situation.

Wow, hard to believe it's been 10 years. He loved his country for sure to give up his career and join the military. Not many like him today.

Happens more often than you think. Happened to me and my platoon in Iraq. We happened to be in an uparmored humvee though. Some SF guys were conducting some training exercise and didn't check the area for friendlys apparently. It was gunfire through wooded area so the guys firing didn't realize we were there initially.

I've had it happen to me as well, was just saying as far as the fratricide fatalities go, it's surprising it isn't higher.

I was in a building that was shot by a Bradley a few times before he realized it was outside his AOR. Very glad he realized it too.
