Alabama fans, what are you hearing about Deionte Thompson?

About a month back he was pretty high on LSU, and the flip wasn't out of the question later in the recruiting process.
Any new developments?

He's been solid since he committed. Only school with a chance is Texas.

If I am reading the ATM thread correctly, UTx may have screwed themselves over with Thompson by pissing off his coach.

They did the same thing with Edward Paris, Jamal Adams, Tony Brown and Chris Hardeman by pissing of Hardeman's dad last year

This is one of the few positions where we can offer a possible starting job as a freshman.
This year we lose:
Nick Perry
Jarrick Williams
Landon Collins
Geno Smith is the only safety returning with experience.
I would be surprised if Thompson went elsewhere.

I'd say based off his latest twitter posts, he's still very high on the Tide. As always, things could change in the blink of an eye, but being apart of a #1 class, at a position of need, is a good thing.

The Golden Triangle is an area of Southeast Texas between the cities of Beaumont, Port Arthur, and Orange.
