If Tabor gets the 2 spot, how good can VH3-Tabor duo be?

VH3 is already the best corner in the SEC, IMO. Probably among the top 3 in the nation. If Tabor pans out well, how good can they be? A Claiborne-Mathieu duo where both made 1st team All American?
That and that Gator pass rush can be scary as hell!

I'm also interested to see what Brown and Holland JR can do. I'm loving these young duos of the SEC.

They still only win 7-8 games.

Maybe. I heard Fowler got leaner, better and faster though!

Fowler on one side... did Bullard declare for the draft?

I also read Driskell is "seeing the field nice" and and is fitting in and getting along well with the new OC. I still think they win 9 though. Even with this loaded class they just pulled in.

Tabor is one of the best corners I've seen come out of high school. I don't understand how he wasn't rated the top corner last year. I'm just glad he didn't go to Bama, because he would have been perfect for Saban's scheme.

VH3 was one of the best corners I saw last year as a true freshman. I think he's easily top 3 in the nation as a sophomore.

Saw him in person at Commonwealth and he's amazing.

If Tabor pans out, the Florida defense in '14 is going to be terrifying.

He runs in the 4.6 to 4.7 range. He doesn't possess elite speed. That's why he was behind Adoree Jackson, Tony Brown and Marlon Humphrey.

He and Minkah Fitzpatrick (who may commit to Alabama this weekend) are very similar. Very good technique with excellent size, but lacking speed. Their rankings are very similar too.

Duke Dawson has actually been playing better in practice, so I'm not sure if Tabor will be the other starter when the season kicks off. He's certainly going to play a lot though. Also, Nick Washington has really been impressing (he was injured last year) so the secondary looks like it's going to be pretty good again for Florida.

Honestly, I don't think any Florida fan is really concerned about the defense.

It's the offense that has to do better if they are going to win more than 6 games.

I was over joyed that he chose Arizona over Bama. Then once I heard he flipped I found it it shocking, then I seen Purifoy and Roberson were declaring which opened up a perfect spot for him.

I also heard Duke was doing great at Florida's spring workouts too. That defense is going to be sickening. Florida has done some amazing things with their secondaries, and defense in general as of late. I like that. Too bad we can't see VH3 vs DGB this year.

Amazing, the downside is unless Boom gets the offensive turned around it doesn't matter at all because why on Earth would you pass when you can score 20 and win anyway. Look at last season's secondary-- legitimately every player was likely an NFL guy at some point and it didn't matter because once a team got 17 they had no reason to throw or test them.

It sucks having a moron who can't see that an offense helps your defense, oh well 6 months til a new coach.

Second time reading that. Cooper must've had a great spring huh? I know he's a really good receiver and last season eas plagued with an injury, but whats the reason for all his hype? Saban? Due for a big year?

Check out his freshman numbers to see what Cooper can do when he is healthy. And he didn't start every game then.

He has been an absolute beast in spring. Saban said there is no way to cover him without putting two guys on him. Add in the fact that this is his paycheck year before declaring for the draft and you will see some outstanding production from Cooper.

Back to the topic on Tabor. He is going to be a good one. Should be interesting to see how UF uses him.

His ability is why we hype him. He may not run it at the combine, but by all indication he has sub 4.4 speed, he's got good hands (though last year he seemed to take a step down to good from great hands), and is probably the best route runner in CFB. He's gonna get his, but all of that will eventually lead to teams doubling him and making a new QB uncomfortable if he locks in. Coop may have an ok year, a good year, or a great year, but it's too tough to call right now.
