Patrick Towles will start. Drew Barker will redshirt. Mark it down.

I think Whitlow could be very good in an offense that lets him use his best asset (his feet) and only called for him to throw as part of a read option.

Something like Gus runs at Auburn would allow Whitlow to shine.

Didn't Stoops just say that if the season started today Whitlow would be his starter?

Except not at all.

Whitlow doesn't fit in the system that our coaches want to run.

We have three QB's that do fit.

Well Stoops has only been talking Towles and Barker anyway.

When was the last time a 1st string QB took every snap of a whole season?

Just as long as they don't stick a WR at the QB position, then we're good.

Damn. I liked Whitlow.

If he had been healthy for the whole game against State y'all would have won.

We lost by 6 points. I hardly think that it's out of the realm of possibility to think that our shite team could have beat your shite team.

As much as I like Whitlow, this is a good thing for Kentucky. It likely means one of the QBs with the capability to throw it down field and open up the offense has won the starting spot. As said, Stoops had primarily been talking about Towels and Barker. Towels had a lot of promise coming in but got hit with some injuries and supposedly had trouble reading coverages. From all accounts Barker has looked good too. I don't forsee depth being an issue.

Good luck to Whitlow. Was hoping we could keep him on in a Wildcat package but I understand the move for him.
