Where was he on the depth chart? #2 with the most time in the system out of all the QBs?

that Kyler kid is a freak, but he won't be there for another year.
If TAMU QB goes down, they might seriously struggle (not that they won't already with that awesome defense and losing one of the best college QBs to ever play the game and his sick nasty WR and OL)

People are ignoring the fact that the way Texas A&M played football, the QB is very open for getting hit. Manziel was the best I've ever seen at absorbing contact, so unless the offense is different, Joeckel transferring could be a big deal.

I think he saw the writing on the wall, the starting job was going to be decided between Hill/Allen, personally I'm hoping it's Allen. Based on what we've seen so far in the spring, I think he's got a chance to be really good. Joeckel is a decent qb and I'm sure can start somewhere, hope he finds a good landing spot.

What sucks is he's solid and had the most playing time, would have been a decent back up option. Now we're down to 2 unknowns.

Why would he be scared of the 2013 USC team? He never played them....
