Other thread got me curious about this. Without bothering to look it up, I think the last time Bama traveled to a non-BCS school was playing Tulane at the Super Dome in 1992.

A&M plays at SMU this season.
I have no idea that last time AU played at a Non-BCS school.
Do we still call them BCS and non-BCS schools?

I would count Duke when we went there. They play in a BCS conference but they aren't serious about football.

Thus they are not a non-BCS school

I still count Duke. I don't care. It's Duke. It's football. Not basketball.

Or AQ schools. Looks like TCU 1980 was last time AU played at a non-BCS school. If you don't want to count TCU since they are Big XII now it would be at Memphis in 1976

We go to South Alabama this year. And have been to Troy in the past couple years. Price of paying poker with the big boys.
Alabama: 2003 at Hawaii
Arkansas: 1999 at SMU
Auburn: WOW. 1955 at Tulane, but they were SEC at the time. 1945 at Maxwell AFB. (have only played 3-4 road games most years. How did they get away with only playing two road games in 1982, 1998 and 1990?)

Memphis is technically in the AAC nowadays. I had to go back to 1955 to find then-SEC Tulane.
