From 2010-2013, here are the schools with most players drafted:

Alabama - 29
LSU - 27
Georgia - 26
Oklahoma - 24
Florida - 23
USC - 23

4 of 6 from SEC

And this is not counting free agent signings!

At least the top 4 of those figure to have a lot of draftees in this year's draft as well.

Bama currently has the longest streak of first round draft picks (which, baring something bizarre, will continue this year) at 5 years (long way off from Miami's record 14 years).

Bama also can tie Miami's record of four straight years of having the most first round picks in the draft.

Bama also has a streak of 5 straight years of having a player taken in the top ten. This one may end though.

All of that after not having a single player drafted in 2008

The SEC has had a player taken in the first round of the NFL draft every year since 1942. That is the longest streak of any conference. Interestingly, in 1941 TAMU had two players drafted that year, but, alas, TAMU was not SEC then.

of those who? The Bama players? All of the Bama players drafted in the first round from 2009-2013 are still in the NFL with the exception of Rolando McClain.

There is a chance Detroit could take Ha Ha Clinton Dix but other projections have them taking Justin Gilbert. I looked it up. The NFL says Bama set the consecutive top ten pick streak last year but by my count Bama tied USC last year. Not sure how they are counting it.

Can't believe it's been half a page and no one has talked shite about UGA yet. Very surprising, and quite a welcome change. I like it.

Thats right i remember seeing that on someones list now.
With all this QB hype this year, the only player i could think of out of Bama is AJ...

And this is a relative down year in the draft for UGA, too.

I'm still amazed that 31 of the 33 players drafted in the Saban era were on the 2010 team. Injuries and youth aside, how the Hell did that team go 10-3?

Two or three busts out of more than a dozen is a record?
