I heard that rumor. Is it true? How did he look?

It's not a common practice.

Johnny Manziel also did. What's your point here (just wondering)?

I'm more interested in what teams decided to attend, and how his knee performed...

Helmets are needed to prevent injury caused by flying piss balloons.

Yes.

Mettenberger, who had surgery on Jan. 2 to repair his left knee, threw nearly 125 passes and made every throw while wearing a helmet and shoulder pads -- the new trend started by fellow prospect Johnny Manziel last month.

He was actually planning on the pads before Manziel did.

Ok?
He wins?
I wasn't trying to insult your school's QB.
I was answering the OP's question.

He rolled out and threw on the run a few times. Naturally, he was horrible doing that, because he was horrible doing that all season. The point was to show his knee was healthy.

Apparently the Vikings head coach was VERY interested.

Yeah he was apparently much further along in his recovery than NFL teams expected.
