The ones who didn't even watch tSECCG because you'd rather watch your women's team due to the girls actually "caring".

Do you "fans" feel bad for giving up on this team and being a fairweather bandwagoner?

And yes, I am mad

I don't blame them. They lost to South Carolina (RPI rank 150) late in the season.

Well you're the definition of a shitty fan, so of course you wouldn't blame them for being a shitty fan as well

If you are trying to rustle the jimmies of Cat and Belle, I am gonna guess your OP will not have the desired effect.

I've watched Bama fans give up on our team and it used to make me furious. My father is one of the worst. I remember the 2012 LSU game and this board was full of Bama fans throwing in the towel (and it damn sure looked like we were DONE...but that's not the point).

That's just part of it. Enjoy your team. And in Florida's case - great season, I know you're disappointed you didn't win it all, but yet ANOTHER deep run in the tourney beats the hell out of anything my team has done. We've never sniffed a Final Four.

Wilbekin lost that game for UF. He was terrible. However, I don't think all those mini huskies will be able to penetrate Kentucky's players like they did UF. Kentucky is loaded with 3 point shooters, where as Florida was a defensive juggernaut.

Supporting other teams besides the football, men's basketball and baseball teams =/= giving up.

To answer your question, no I don't feel bad. I didn't even watch the entire game last night because the Braves were playing at the same time.

Sorry you're mad. Don't know what you're mad about, though. The Gators had a fantastic season. That they came up short has to be immensely frustrating but it's part of the game.

Labeling us "fairweather bandwagoners" isn't accurate. That term would seem to apply to Gators fans more than to us. We're there through thick and thin. No one bailed on this year's squad. Rupp Arena remained at capacity, save for a few blue hairs who were out for hip replacements and such.

We continued to watch because we saw the immense talent on the court. We didn't see the teamwork until the "tweak," however. I would love to know what it was that Coach did and maybe he'll elaborate after the season is over. I have an idea that he told them, especially the twins, that they were auditioning and to quit farting around or their NBA stock would drop off the charts. Whatever it was, it worked. Win or lose tomorrow night, those guys have made the best comeback in UK history.

UK fans for the most part did not give up on this team but many like me dropped their expectations late in the season. I became re-inspired when they had UF on the ropes with the ball and 20 sec on the clock down by one in the SECCG. At that point I felt this team could do some serious damage in the NCAA if they took it one game at a time...

You can troll and flame all you want today.

Only the OP would think watching multiple teams with the same school as fairweather.

But good luck on Monday. Wait.

Wow, an actual UF basketball fan who cares enough to be bitter over a loss. I'm impressed.

He's talking about a couple of us that watched the women's team in the SECCG against Tennessee while the men were playing an otherwise meaningless game at the same time (I want to say it was the last regular season game against Florida maybe?)

It's all good though. I also remember a whole bunch of UF fans not showing up for a Sugar Bowl against another team from the state of Kentucky. Must've been another Florida team playing somewhere else amiright? You know, glass houses and all.
