Am I the only one who gets a big arse smile on their face from it? I'm not a "SEC homer" but I do take pride with LSU Being part of the grind and I do love absolutely trolling other fan bases and crowds with it.

Now when Clemson did the A-C-C Chant to Georgia I was flustered.

It's ok to do in Football where we're clearly the dominant conference. The Chant is supposed to remind other teams of our dominance.

UT doing it in Basketball though

It is kind of awe inspiring in things like National Championship games. Didn't Florida do one in '06 vs. OSU? Basketball games as well. But it does have it's cheese

Football and Baseball for sure

I'm kinda iffy on it being done in basketball, but I so feel the SEC was a better conference than given credit for in basketball so I don't mind the Ten-Iowa thing

I actually like it in basketball because we got shite on by the selection committee.

There would be nothing better IMO than having Florida make the final four and Kentucky/Tennessee playing each other in the elite eight to make it to the final four.

After the Iowa game I heard it. Not sure about today. Didn't watch the end.

It pisses off the tsips more than ANYTHING else in the entire universe. It is awesome, imo.

The team I root for wins things on their own so I don't feel compelled to chant SEC to make me feel better about myself.

This. Seeing how mad it makes others is the best part.

It's great because of the annoyance factor. Am I actually overwhelmed with conference pride when for example, USC beats Clemson? No, it's more of a team thing but the chant is great because opponents hate it so much. It's just one additional stab at their pride.

I think the chant was more motivated by conference pride in its early days like when LSU players screamed it in the 07 NCG post game but now it's different.

I was hoping that both Bama and LSU fans would do a giant SEC chant before kickoff in the BCSNCG as sort of a giant to all the other conferences. Sadly it did not happen.

This.

I love the display of struggle face and butthurt from OOC opponents when the chant starts

I remember the first real "S-E-C" chant I got to experience in person was at the 2008 Bama/Clemson Kickoff Game. Sadly they were only about 5 Clemson fans left, but I sure had fun chanting away

First time I heard it was in the 2007 NC game. All of the OSU fans were walking out with tears in their eyes.
